Light-Weight

Because TANFLEXâ is not stuffed with tannins and other ’weighting’ materials, it is - 15 % lighter than the vegetable soles.

Weight savings are critical in designing golf shoes, and even more critical on the course. In the dry, TANFLEXâ saves the legs picking up over 160 kgs per round. In the wet, TANFLEXâ really performs, saving the wearer having to pick up over 650 kgs - almost 40 % !

Flexible

TANFLEXâ is a supple tannage, allowing the designer to choose materials and methods of construction to give stability where required along with ease of flexing in walking, making a more comfortable, less tiring shoe.

Most soles fail by cracking.

When new, the grain of TANFLEX â stretches 35 % more than vegetable before craking.

And because the TANFLEXâ tannage protects the fibres from the detanning and hardening effect of repeated wetting, vegetable soles will dry out and crack much sooner in use.
